About Me
I a fiction author who writes dark, emotionally driven animal fantasy stories exploring fear, survival, and moral conflict.
My work focuses on animals placed in harsh, morally complex environments where survival is never guaranteed and choices carry lasting consequences. Rather than using animals as allegory or comfort, my stories treat them as sentient beings navigating danger, loss, and uncertainty in ways that mirror real emotional stakes.
The Work
The stories I write are concerned less with spectacle and more with pressure — what happens when characters are forced into situations where there is no clean or painless outcome.
Topics I explore:
- Survival under sustained threat
- Moral ambiguity rather than clear heroism
- Emotional endurance in the face of fear and loss
- The cost of choices made when escape is impossible
The intention is not to soften these experiences for the reader, but to present them honestly and with restraint, allowing the emotional weight to emerge naturally rather than through shock or excess.

Why Animal Fiction?
I am a huge animal lover, and my interest in animal fiction is rooted in the belief that animal perspectives allow certain emotional truths to be explored more directly — vulnerability, instinct, fear, and resilience — without the distancing effect that human-centric narratives can sometimes introduce.
The animals in my stories are not symbols or metaphors to be decoded, they are characters with agency, limits, and inner lives shaped by the environments they inhabit. Their struggles are treated seriously, without irony or sentimentality.
This approach allows the stories to remain grounded, even when the worlds they depict are harsh or unforgiving.
Background and Approach
I approach writing with an emphasis on emotional clarity, restraint, and long-term coherence. Scenes are built to carry weight through consequence rather than intensity alone, and narrative decisions are guided by what feels internally honest rather than what feels conventionally dramatic.
I am currently developing longer-form fiction, including a planned ongoing series, with a focus on consistency of tone, character psychology, and moral continuity across the work.
